Just in time for The Interview to hit theaters, Seth Rogen and James Franco stopped by the ESPN offices where they chatted with Los Angeles Clippers’ star player Blake Griffin. The Power Forward pitched the comedy duo on a number of all too familiar movie concepts including Kazaam, Space Jam and Teen Wolf. All jokes aside, we would love to see Blake slam dunk his way onto the big screen! Unfortunately, Sony has decided to pull The Interview from all theaters in response to the decisions by the country’s major chains not to show the film, which had been scheduled to open on Christmas Day.
“In light of the decision by the majority of our exhibitors not to show the film The Interview, we have decided not to move forward with the planned December 25 theatrical release. We respect an understand our partners’ decision and, of course, completely their paramount interest in the safety of employees and theater goers,” said a statement from the studio.
