REV. AL SHARPTON TO HOST A RALLY OF THANKS GIVING FOR THE CHARGES BROUGHT AGAINST THE SIX BALTIMORE POLICE OFFICERS WITH THE MOTHER AND WIDOW OF ERIC GARNER

REV. SHARPTON WILL CHALLENGE THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TO DO THE SAME IN THE GARNER CASE

Rev. Al Sharpton spent two days in Baltimore this week with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and local Baltimore leaders, which included a summit with top national civil rights leaders.

At May 2nd’s ‘Saturday action rally’ Rev. Sharpton will support the state prosecutor who charged the six police officers in Baltimore but question the fact that there has been no charges in the Eric Garner case in Staten Island, NY. Mr. Garner was also filmed while he was placed under a police chokehold and New York City police labeled his death a homicide. Rev. Sharpton and the Garner family will escalate their drive for justice for Eric Garner at tomorrow’s rally.
