As the 2014-15 NBA season comes to a close this week — with ABC’s coverage of the Finals drawing their highest ratings in more than a decade — the league is looking at presenting basketball fans with some new viewing options in the fall.

Starting with the 2015-16 season that tips off in late October, fans will have the opportunity to purchase both single games, individual-team packages or the traditional package of nearly 1,000 live out-of-market games (featuring all 30 teams) throughout the regular season. The single-game offerings will allow fans to select individual NBA League Pass live games on a given day, and the individual team package will give fans the option to follow one team all season.

The new packages will be made available during the 2015-16 season by NBA Digital to broadband and mobile subscribers on iOS and Android devices. Details on where else these new offerings may be purchased, as well as pricing for all NBA League Pass packages, will be announced in a few weeks, the league said Tuesday.

NBA League Pass is available through cable, satellite and telco distributors and includes NBA League Pass Broadband.
