Knife Found on O.J. Simpson’s Former Estate

Los Angeles police have discovered a knife on O.J. Simpson’s former estate, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Robbery Homicide Division is currently investigating and and testing the buck knife.

According to the LA Times, the knife was turned over to a LAPD police officer several years ago by a construction worker at the property. However, detectives reportedly only recently learned of the knife’s existence when the officer who had the weapon was retiring, and are now investigating where it came from.

The weapon will undergo forensic tests to determine whether it had any connection with the 1994 murders of Simpson’s ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman. Simpson was acquitted of the murders in 1995 after a trial that lasted more than eight months.

TMZ first reported the news.

More to come.
