Discussing the hot topic of charitable giving this Sunday on Fox News Radio is Jean Shafiroff, philanthropist and author of new book Successful Philanthropy: How To Make a Life by What You Give. In this week’s Vipp Jaswal Report – airing Sunday, May 15th, 2016 at 6:00pm – Vipp is asking if we are charitable from a sense of obligation to give to the less fortunate or if we are really maximizing what giving to others can truly mean for our own satisfaction. To help answer this question is Jean Shafiroff, professional philanthropist and fundraiser who sits on the board of seven charities. Shafiroff, who has been named one of the top 100 most Powerful New Yorkers by Gotham Magazine, also recently added author to her extensive resume.

Shafiroff’s book Successful Philanthropy: How To Make a Life by What You Give is a practical guide offering advice for modern giving that redefines philanthropy for today’s era. Shafiroff comments that, “Describing yourself as a philanthropist may seem odd at first. For some people, being a philanthropist sounds like something limited only to those who give large financial gifts. But the truth is that philanthropy is accessible to anyone.”

Successful Philanthropy: How To Make a Life by What You Give [Hatherleigh Press/Penguin Random House] is available to order in Hardcover and E-Reader on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Indiebound [ISBN 978-1578266173]. The book is also available for purchase wherever books are sold.
