Prolific “Virula: Renaissancve Outlaw” author, Roy Albert Andrade, took a night off from his busy schedule to attend Oscar De La Hoya’s LA Fight Club night at the Belasco Theater. The boxing legend turned promoter was very happy to meet Roy. Not only did he pose for a picture with him, but promptly endorsed Andrade’s second book. De La Hoya says he got the idea for LA Fight Club from “Fight Club,” the 1999 cult classic that was filmed around Los Angeles. The fighters are all up and comers from the City of Angels. After the bouts end, the ring transforms into a nightclub.
