YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: As first reported by the celebrity real estate minx at the Daily News, 1990s supermodel turned “Top Model” mogul Tyra Banks has hoisted her New York City pied-a-terre on the open market with an asking price of $3,795,000.

Property records show the smizey and statuesque model-mogul picked up the city-view two-bedroom and 2.5 bathroom condo in March 2005 for $2,102,686 and current digital marketing materials suggest the approximately 2,000-square-foot high-floor unit carries taxes and maintenance charges that tally up to $4,097 per month.

According to the floor plan included with online listing details, a curved wall in the unusually roomy foyer bends around to a 600-square-foot-plus open plan living area with Brazilian mahogany floors, five large windows on two walls with north and east exposures, and an all-white galley style kitchen. Let’s hope, children, the furnishings and artwork belong to Staging Lady in a Pink Toyota because it makes us need a nerve pill to think Miz Banks would spend her reality t.v. money on those iridescent tiled cubes standing in as coffee tables in the living area.

At the center of the long and slender apartment there are a guest bedroom with en suite pooper, a couple of closets for coats and things, a powder room and a laundry closet. The master suite at the rear has a large bedroom, a spacious compartmentalized bathroom with marble detailing, a private sitting room/study and three custom-fitted closets, two of them walk-ins. Not that it really matters since paint is an easy fix but the mottled gold paint treatment slathered on the walls in the master bedroom probably cost Miz Banks a small fortune to have custom applied but feels a little, well, middle-brow-tract-house for our admittedly persnickety decorative tastes.

The pet-friendly pre-war building, the former East River Saving Bank Building now dubbed The Spring, was originally designed by architect Cass Gilbert in 1909 and converted to condos in 2004. It offers it’s well-heeled residents full-time doormen, basement storage and a common roof deck with wrap around city views.

Several celebs have shacked up in the pre-war building: Keith Richard’s pill and pot toting model daughter Theodora Richards lived here when she got arrested a few years ago with a cache of pills and pot; In 2011 Dakota Fanning rented a two-bedroom place to shack up during her stint at NYU ; And John Mayer sold his 12 th -floor place in December 2013 for $3.91 million and moved to a 15-acre ranch along the Yellowstone River in western Montana.

Miz Banks’s representatives told the Daily News that although the reality show host “loved the apartment but simply wasn’t able to spend any time there with her current work schedule.” Well, there’s that and she also owns a much more expansive cluster of apartments in a Battery Park apartment tower that she purchased in early 2009 for just over $10 million. Her property portfolio also includes a house in Beverly Hills — purchased for $3.08 million in 2004 — but Your Mama has repeatedly heard word that Miz Banks might like to upgrade her residential circumstances in Los Angeles and has been peepin’ properties in prime zip codes with prices in the neighborhood of $10 million.
