The lovely Mary Wilson of the Supremes served as hostess for Figure Skating in Harlem’s (FSH)) 10th Annual Skating With The Stars Gala on Monday, April 13 at 583 Park Avenue. The evening honored women’s champion Gloria Steinem, Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek, and Feld Entertainment’s Nicole, Alana, and Juliette Feld.
Steinem spoke very highly of the girls in the Figure Skating in Harlem program. She told the audience: “If they have wings on their feet, they will have wings on their hearts and on their minds. You have made it happen.”
Notable attendees included philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, designer B Michael (both pictured with Wilson), Marcus Samuelsson, Ivanka Trump, Bevy Smith, Vera Wang and Tamara Tunie.
The event raised nearly $900,000 for Figure Skating in Harlem’s program.
