This season, Karen Gravano has returned back to Staten Island after taking a season long hiatus only to be greeted by newcomer Natalie who is less than thrilled to see the original mob daughter reclaim her city. Unable to pay the debt for her father’s mistakes, Karen’s fed up with apologizing and living in the past and is hell bent on creating a future in Staten Island with her longtime boyfriend and teenage daughter. Although Karen has the support of her childhood friend Renee Graziano, a lot has changed since Karen left. Will Karen be able to pick up where she left off or is she in over her head? Only time will tell.
Last season, viewers got to see Renee’s most vulnerable moments as she experienced a drug relapse. Described by Renee as being one of her most embarrassing moments, Mob Wives fans supported Renee as they watched her undergo rehab to piece her life back together. This season Renee is sober and re-building her life and although things are dramatically different than before, some wounds never heal; Renee is still being taunted for her ex-husband’s cooperation with the FBI and all of the lives he destroyed before he was sentenced. With her son AJ by her side, Renee is ready to conquer not only her demons but the world as well.
